Adam is reading to Rowan right now. Its one of those moments that you just sit and enjoy... relish in the moment. Adam is reading "The Cat in the Hat is Back" and Rowan is just staring at him with pure love and awe. After being with me all day I'm sure  he is just thrilled to see his Daddy - they have a connection now, which is great:)   What an adorable little man. Beautiful blue eyes, and shiny blonde hair along with beautifully white skin.
Interestingly enough too, Rowan LOVES our female chihuahua, Chiquita. He can be screaming in frustration and when Chiquita comes by  he just stops and watches her. He smiles and reaches out to pet her. She loves him too. She is very tolerant. Rowan will grab his ear and side and squeeze and she just yelps but stays there (yes we do try to avoid this though).  
Rowan is a week short of being 6 months now - absolutely amazing! How time flies! I can remember being pregnant with him. He now sits up when you hold his hands and proceeds to stand up also! Unbelievable. Adam is just about to feed him peas which is also a neat milestone. We confirmed he enjoys carrots and sweet potatoes. The expression he makes when he eats though is funny. I'm really not so sure he enjoys the peas. He looks like he's eaten a lemon when he eats it.  HAHAHA... he is filling up his mouth with peas and blowing bubbles!  He's hilarious. He is learning how to spit.  Great!!

I better go enjoy these moments instead of blogging about them.
