So it's 2;39am and I'm sitting on the couch holding Rowan and typing this on my phone with my thumb. I thought he was waking up to eat but now he Is back asleep again. He is so adorable.
Looking down at him I can def see the resemblance between him and Adam .
So.. I've been pumping my breast milk for him but as of 2 days ago I stopped and have him exclusively on soy formula. Why you ask? "but breast milk is best" people keep saying ....well, sorry but No Shit. I get it. That's all I've ever wanted to feed him but between latching issues and his now intolerance issue I've decided to call it quits. I was willing to keep pumping but when he started projectile vomiting it up at every feed I decided to call it quits. Poor guy couldn't keep it down.. So, soy it is. YAY!! More $$$ ! Lol.. Just smile Stacey. :D
So with this transition I've had the dreaded breast engorgement . .. Painful!! I have to admit.. Having my boobs this big is awesome but, they feel like knives are stabbing into them.
So tonight I drove to the pharmacy and bought ice packs and cabbage leaves.
Relief is on its way! Pregnancy and motherhood sure is an interesting experience!!
I better go, he is hungry!!:)
